This past Sunday afternoon (10.30.11) friends, former teachers and students at North Branch School planted a tree in remembrance of Earl Miller.
Raven Holland Curtis, a long time friend of Earl Miller, takes a turn digging the hole for a memorial tree planted in his memory at North Branch School this past Sunday afternoon in Afton.
“He was my book buddy. A wonderfully nice person,” one former student of North Branch told us. We continue hearing the same sorts of stories all across the county.
Friends and former students place dirt around the tree remembering Earl Miller a previous student at North Branch School. After the tree was planted, friends took turns speaking in remembrance, and singing a couple of songs in Earl Miller's memory. The newly planted tree is now a permanent marker for future generations and students at North Branch School.
