THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON…

* PRECIPITATION TYPE…SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS. RAIN AND SNOW MIX
IN THE VALLEYS.

* ACCUMULATIONS…POTENTIAL FOR FIVE OR MORE INCHES OF SNOW FOR
ELEVATIONS ABOVE 1500 FEET.

* TIMING…RAIN AND SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA THIS EVENING
AND CONTINUE THROUGH MIDDAY SATURDAY. THE HEAVIEST
PRECIPITATION WILL BE LATE TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS…HEAVY WET SNOW WILL LIKELY ACCUMULATE ON TREES. WITH
FOLIAGE STILL ON TREES…THE SNOW MAY LEAD TO BROKEN TREE LIMBS
AND POWER OUTAGES. HAZARDOUS TRAVEL ON SNOW-COVERED ROADS IS
ALSO POSSIBLE.

* TEMPERATURES…LOW TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 20S
ACROSS THE RIDGE TOPS TO THE LOWER AND MIDDLE 30S IN THE
VALLEYS.

* WINDS…NORTHEAST AROUND 5 MPH TONIGHT BECOMING NORTHWEST 10 TO
20 MPH SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
