Nelson County, Virginia

No doubt you’ve seen the blue signs and The Blue Toad if you have been driving down Route 151 between Afton and Greenfield. This past Wednesday evening Todd & Kim Rath held a soft opening of the valley’s newest restaurant. Before Blue Toad, it was D’Ambola’s Restaurant for years.

A big plus for anyone with kids is the fenced in playground just a few short steps from the outside seating.

  1. Food is great! Very friendly & nice! Just remember folks – gratuity starts out at 18% these gals are working in the HOT sun & doing a darn good job learning all the ropes of a new business and To Go orders are suppose to get 10% – 15% – they still took your order, got it ready for you and supplied you with a service.
