The first step was taken Friday night in Lovingston to reestablish a tradition that one of the most popular days in Nelson County. It’s now called Nelson Community Day and is being spearheaded by Kate Rutherford. An organizational meeting was held at the Nelson Center to discuss the day that’s being planned sometime in the future. The days is being co-hosted by the Nelson Chamber of Commerce and Lions of Nelson
A special Nelson Community Day Facebook page has been set up to keep people informed on the planning.
