According to the experts, a supermoon hasn’t occurred in our area for about 20 years. So, NCL Photographer, Paul Purpura wasn’t going to miss this chance! He grabbed some very nice pictures from atop Wintergreen this past Saturday night.
In this shot, the supermoon just begins to appear on the eastern horizon as seen from Founders Vision Overlook above Wintergreen Resort. A few evening clouds looked like they might cover the moon, but eventually went away, keep scrolling down!As the supermoon made its way up into the sky, Paul grabbed this one final shot!
