Fire crews have been ultra busy across Nelson and nearby counties this Saturday. Wind driven fires have been a problem due to gusts of over 50 MPH. Nelson and Crozet crews responded to a fire that got out of control at AM Fog on the Nelson/Albemarle County line.
An additional grass fire was worked earlier in the day in Southern Nelson County.
High Wind Warnings and Red Flag Warnings continue into the evening hours Saturday for high risk of wildfires.
