Nelson County, Virginia

Gusty winds and dry conditions made for a brief, but scary fire early Saturday afternoon just outside of Nellysford on Truslow’s Lane. Fire crews from Wintergreen, Rockfish Valley FD, Faber and VA Dept of Forrester all initially responded to the fire burning in a field not far from the intersection of Berry Hill Road and Truslow’s Lane.

In less than 45 minutes the fire was totally under control.
