With a chill in the air Saturday morning, the feel was just right for the start of the annual Christmas tree sale at The Rockfish Valley Community Center in Afton. The event is back again for 2010 and the trees will be on sale as long as they last. You can inquire and take a look by going to the Treasure Chest near the back of the building by The Hamner Theater entrance.
Here’s what RVCC says about this year’s trees:
“Once again we’ll be bringing you those beautiful and oh-so-fresh Fraser Firs from the mountains of NC. They’re available for pre-order at trees@rockfishcc.org and can be purchased at RVCC starting the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, from 9 to 1. Trees will be for sale through the Treasure Chest during their regular operating hours until gone!
ALSO, new this year 20″-24″ Fraser Fir wreaths will be for sale starting at $20.
ALSO new this year, new and renewing members get a 10% discount on the purchase of a tree or wreath.
AND lower prices on the tallest of trees”
