Hard to believe, but we may be talking snow showers in the forecast by late Thursday night into Friday morning. The most likely time for snow showers would be after midnight in elevations above 2000 feet. This would include Wintergreen Resort and areas near the Blue Ridge Parkway.
By no means is this a sure bet, but enough cold air may work into the area very early Friday morning to convert some of the rain to light snow showers.
