David Hall of Stoney Creek was the vision behind the Skyline Fountain at Wintergreen Resort’s valley golf course. We told you about his idea finally becoming a reality in our 2008 web story here. In late October 2008 the installation was done and for nearly two years the fountain has been churning away.
This Thursday marks the annual Skyline Fountain Shootout. “>It’s a one hole golf event over the pond-fountain that’s free. Everyone gets 2 shots, says David who’s coordinating the event.

Though the weather calls for showers in the early morning Thursday, most of the heavy rain looks to be gone by the hours of the event.
David says pack an umbrella just in case, but be sure to bring your 7 iron!
