Sources tell us Hazmat crews are responding to an accident at the intersection of Rts. 151 and 250 at the bottom of Afton Mountain after a vehicle ran over a piece of metal on the road, tearing open its fuel tank. The vehicle pulled over to nearby Rockfish Gap Country Store where it is leaking about 40 gallons of fuel, threatening a nearby stream. No injuries have been reported but expect traffic delays until the scene is cleared.
