The Nelson County High Governors gave it all they could this past Friday night, but it still wasn’t enough to keep Lunenburg Central from winning the second home game of the season by a score of 42-35. NCL photographer, Paul Purpura, came down off of the mountain to grab the shots from the September 24th game.

Last week The Govs lost in their first home game of the season against Madison County (56-27)

Regardless, the crowd at Friday night's games saw an excellent performance by the Nelson Govs Marching Band and flag squad.

This leave The Govs with a 0-4 loss for the season thus far.
