This past weekend people from the Oakland Museum of History had an informal get together for the unveiling of a special painting by artist Emily Moxley. Ms. Moxley presented a painting to the museum depicting what it looked liked back in it’s original state long before US 29 was the four lane highway it is today.

Emily Moxley shows off the painting she donated to the museum. It shows what the area most likely looked liked in it's original state.
