“Expressions in Color” by Michael Donegan
North Branch Art Teacher, Michael Donegan, graduated from Mary Baldwin College with a B.A. in Art. Michael teaches art to all of the students at North Branch in preK-8th grade and has been an artist-in residence at Churchville Elementary School. He also entertains a variety of ongoing musical adventures. Michael enjoys sharing his lifelong love of art and stories with children. In addition to teaching art, Michael is teaching humanities to 5th and 6th graders at North Branch.
In his spare time, Michael can be found playing guitar, skateboarding, or creating graphic art for a variety of organizations through his company, DoneganDesign. Michael and his wife, Tonya Ridings, have two sons. Niall graduated from North Branch in 2009 and is a sophomore at Nelson County High School. Ian is in 6th grade at North Branch School. The family lives in Afton, Virginia.
