Meet Yer Eats Farm Tour 2010 will be held from 10AM to 4PM on Monday, September 6th at 18 different farm locations throughout the Central Virginia region. This event gives Central Virginians a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside in our area and to see exactly what goes into growing produce locally and organically.
Interactive tours and demonstrations will be given at various locations throughout the day. This event is suitable for all ages. Car-full tickets are sold at $10 in advance at the Market Central booth at City Market or online at marketcentralonline.org, or $15 the day of the event. Fresh produce and other farm products will be on sale all day. Tips on what to wear and what to bring can be found online at www.marketcentralonline.org. No pets, please.
