Nelson County, Virginia
The string of hot weather will continue for most of this week right into the extended outlook. Though we may be talking upper 80’s to lower 90’s instead of blistering mid and upper 90’s. The humidity will hang in there, in particular on Monday until a series of expected thunderstorm development will cool things a bit, and after the passage lower humidity levels just a bit.
Monday looks to be the better chance for widespread thunderstorms at just about anytime, but afternoon again will be the better chances.
The remainder of the week still has a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms with afternoon highs near or slightly above 90 degrees.

We certainly had a fast moving storm come through Arrington last evening. Lots of wind and about an inch of rain was left in my rain gauge.
