Alice Faintich, a book editor and production manager, will present stories from her father’s book, “The Ice Road,” a gripping account of his experiences as a boy in a Stalinist labor camp and his long road to freedom. Join us as we look at this little-known piece of World War II history. “The Ice Road,” by Stefan Waydenfeld, has been a noted selection of the History Book Club and the Military Book Club.
