Not the most inspiring conditions for the first Nelson County Earth Day 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run, but people didn’t seem to mind the rain. Lots of folks showed up Saturday morning at Rockfish River Elementary School in Afton.

We first told you about the inaugural event in the April 2010 issue of Nelson County Life Magazine, page 19.
