Nelson County, Virginia
The most recent snow storm is in the history books, but lots of snow still remains. Enough snow is still on many secondary roads that a large majority of area schools have again called off school today due to slick roads. Nelson County Public Schools are closed this Monday, as well as North Branch School. Many other schools are closed, but those are the only two we have confirmation on within Nelson County.
Today will be sunny and warm with a valley high near 40°. There’s a chance for light snow Tuesday night, but a much more significant storm system look to be on the horizon again, just in time for the weekend!
