THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STERLING VIRGINIA HAS ISSUED A
WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SNOW…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 11
PM EST SATURDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN
EFFECT.

* PRECIPITATION TYPE…SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS…3 TO 6 INCHES.

* TIMING…SNOW WILL BEGIN AROUND DAWN SATURDAY AND IT WILL
PERSIST THROUGH EARLY EVENING. SNOW WILL BE HEAVIEST LATE
MORNING THROUGH MID AFTERNOON.

* TEMPERATURES…TEMPERATURES IN THE TEENS SATURDAY MORNING WILL
RISE INTO THE LOWER 20S DURING THE AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES
SATURDAY EVENING WILL FALL INTO THE TEENS.

* WINDS…NORTHEAST AT 5 TO 10 MPH.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE
