Nelson County, Virginia
WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING

Details Here on Winter Storm Watch.

Updated @ 6AM Thursday
The prospects for another significant snowstorm in this general area look very good by the weekend. Most weather models are now beginning to agree that much some of Virginia from the central region south and east will get a significant amount of snow as of forecasts from late Wednesday / very early Thursday morning. However, the latest trends Thursday morning by 6AM show this bulk of snowfall to our south and east.

By Saturday into early Sunday, forecasts have the snow in Virginia, but with heavier amounts to the south and east of Nelson County.

This system is still a good distance away and any slight changes can greatly affect predicted amounts and arrival time.

We’ll be watching closely over the next 48 hours and will be updating often.
