Nelson County, Virginia
A week from next Monday it will have been a month since heavy snow fell across Nelson County, Virginia. And, snow from that stom is still on the ground and on roofs across the area. If mother nature has her way, more light snow will add to that overnight tonight. Winter Weather Advisories have already been posted cancelled in Amherst and counties south and west of the BRP.

A developing winter storm system is headed toward Nelson and Central Virginia that promises some snowfall, perhaps beginning late this afternoon, and overnight tonight. This storm does not appear to be a major system for our area, only an inch or so of or less of snow should be the rule. However, extremely cold temps will move in again this weekend before moderating temps drop over Virginia by Wednesday of next week.
