The pre-Fall evening was perfect as The Nelson County High Governors kicked off the season here at home Friday night. Our Paul Purpura hopped down off of the mountain to grab these shots of the game. Unfortunately, the excitement of the crowd wasn’t enough to help the home team score. The Buckingham County Knights never let Nelson get a single point smacking the win against Nelson 14-0.
Nelson plays here at home again next Friday night against The Augusta Riverheads out of Staunton.
