After lots of hard work, the official opening of Nelson County’s first skate park is happening Saturday morning at 10AM. We’ve been telling you about the construction taking place at the Rockfish Valley Community Center over the past several weeks. This weekend all of the hard work pays off as the half pipe opens during the RVCC Pancake Breakfast that kicks back off on Saturday 9.5.09 at 8:30 AM. The official ribbon cutting for the park is at 10AM behind RVCC.
Congrats to all of Tim Gorman, the inspiration, coordinator, and sweat behind the new park, along with all of the others who have pitched in the make it happen!
