As far as the eye could see, cyclists lined up for the Devils Backbone Cyclocross Ride. The event had riders going over 60 miles, 6000 feet of elevation gain, plus some 15 + % grades!

The morning started off soggy, but gave way to ample sunshine by mid-morning.

  1. It’s pretty cool to see neat cyclocross events like the Devils Backbone Cyclocross Metric Century pop up, and it’s testimony to the growing popularity of the sport and the versatility of cyclocross bikes. One day we hope to be lucky enough to ride/race the event ourselves!
