  1. Many thanks to the Emergency Crews in Nelson County. It has been a hard 24 hours for them. Early this morning a house fire in Lovingston had crews from Lovingston Fire, Faber Fire, Rockfish Fire, Wintergreen Rescue, Roseland Rescue and Piney River Fire, when a house was destroyed and 2 Men suffered burns over 50% of thier body, one air lifted and one transported by ground. Then todays accident with crews again from Wintergreen Fire and Rescue, Rockfish Fire and Resuce, Faber fire, Lovingston Fire and Nelson Rescue. A very quick response to both calls today shows the compasion these men and woman have for this County. Thanks to all of them.
