After a bit of a reprieve from the rain showers and thunderstorms, chances for the scattered variety are back in the forecast this afternoon. Better chances for storms occur Thursday and Thursday night when a weak cold front will combine with abundant gulf moisture being fed into the area. Dewpoints wil rise during the period, and though temps will be in the 80’s, combined with the humidity it will feel pretty muggy.
Over the weekend it appears right now we’ll get a break from the rain on Saturday with chances increasing again by late Sunday right on through early next week.
