As June winds down and the hotter days of July get ready to set in, the music series is underway at Humpback Rocks Mountain Farm on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s always cool and comfortable up there! Our Paul Purpura made the journey up onto the parkway this past weekend and grabbed some shots of The Highlander String Band playing their music to the crowds dropping by.

According to their website, The Highlander String Band is a collection of Rockingham County musicians playing traditional Appalachian Mountain music.
