Mostly Cloudy skies will continue today with the chance for thunderstorms redeveloping this afternoon and continuing into the evening hours. Ann Strober grabbed this shot late Friday afternoon of a distant thunderstorm over the mountains in Nelson County. Thunderstorms late in the evening and overnight Saturday have the potential to produce heavy rainfall.
By Sunday afternoon as a cold front moves east of the area, much colder air will filter into the region with temps falling to the upper 30’s across the area overnight Sunday into Monday morning. The mountains may even see some mid 30’s by Monday morning with the potential for frost in some spots.
