The weather cooperated perfectly for the 2009 Piney River Mini Triathlon. Our Paul Purpura was up and out Saturday morning to capture all of the action as entrants biked, boated, and ran the course in the southern part of Nelson County, Virginia. Each year in April The Nelson County Parks and Recreation Department coordinates the race.

The 2009 triathlon consisted of several different events like kayaking.
