  1. From what I’ve heard and read , Metallica has had Lamb of God, Mastadon, Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet For My Valentine as some of the opening acts thus far.

  2. Nashville is there first stop on their North American Tour and I’ve been trying to find out who will open for them. The latest rumor I heard was Disturbed. That would rock if it was the case.

  3. I heard a rumour that AC/DC was going to open for them in C’ville! I’ll believe it when I see it, and it would be extremely hard to believe that AC/DC would open for ANYBODY…It would be cool, though…has anybody else heard that rumour by chance?

  4. maybe metallica will open for metallica, that would rule. 4 hours of them would surely satisfy!

  5. For San Jose it WILL be Volbeat and Machine Head opening with Machine Head first. Saw them last nite in Sac. Pretty awesome but one should expect nothing less than the best from Metallica.
