Though most of the ice melted Wednesday with the warmer temperatures, some areas particularly in the higher elevations may still have some icing conditions after freezing weather again Wednesday night. That’s why officials have put their 2 hours scheduling delay into effect for Nelson County Public Schools on Thursday 1.29.08.
Temperatures on Thursday are forecast to be in the mid 40’s, so most any ice left should thaw throughout the afternoon hours.
