David Hall of Nellysford, Virginia was smiling ear to ear Tuesday afternoon as the finishing touches were put on the Skyline Fountain being installed in the first pond as you enter Stoney Creek Golf Course at Wintergreen Resort. The fountain, to be officially unveiled, on November 12th, has been a personal endeavor of David’s over the past several months. A fitting marker as people enter Nellysford, and Stoney Creek. “A lot of golfers will be shooting over the pond. Plus, the metal plaques which cite those who gave donations for the Skyline Fountain will be attached to a marker that day,” said David. He has been the fund raising coordinator securing funds for the fountain. Dustin Kennedy, from Virginia Lake Management Company did the actual fountain installation after resort employees did all of the site and prep work a few days ago.

Two separate spools of electric cable had to be unrolled out to the waiting fountain that attach the pump and lights to electric power.

  3. From your foster brother – Adrian – from your age of 5 and my age of 6. The pictures and commentary about the fountain are great. Dad and Mom Hall, I’m sure, are so very proud of how you continue to be a positive force – wherever you are. I would very much like to come there again and shoot for the hole in one and if it doesn’t go in, send my German Shepherd Dog to retireve it and have you autograph it! 🙂
