By mail: Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 5:00PM
In Person: Saturday, November 1st, 2008 at 5:00PM
Polling places open at 6:00AM and close at 7:00PM on Election Day.
The following are the polling places in Nelson County:
Rockfish precinct: Rockfish Valley Fire Department Bldg.
Lovingston precinct: Lovingston Fire Department Bldg.
Schuyler precinct: Walton’s Mountain Museum
Shipman precinct: Shipman Civic Center/American Legion Bldg.
Gladstone precinct: Gladstone Rescue Squad Bldg.
Roseland precinct: Roseland Rescue Squad Bldg.
Montebello precinct: Montebello Fire Department Bldg.
Faber precinct: Faber Rescue Squad Bldg.
Nellysford precinct: Tuckahoe School Bldg.
Absentee Precinct: Jury room/Courthouse
You will not be allowed inside the polling location wearing any campaign buttons, shirts, hats, slogans of any kind. They will either have to be removed or covered up in order to enter the polling place!!!
