According to Nelson County Sheriff David Brooks, a helicopter is on its way to assist in the search for this afternoon’s BB&T Bank robbery suspect. Though previously described as black, authorities now tell us the suspect could be black or white. He is described as a male, 6 ft. tall, dressed in full camouflage, possibly wearing an orange mask. He may be armed. Sheriff Brooks is asking people to report suspicious activity to the Nelson County Sheriff’s Department: 434-263-7050.
