ROCKFISH VALLEY FOUNDATION BIRD WALKS
Tim Hodge will conduct a bird walk leaving Spruce Creek Park near the port-a-john
at 7:30 AM June 1 and June 5. He may be joined by Marshall Faintich, world class
bird photographer and or Paul Davis and Allen Hale. Other bird walks will be held
during the year but it is less likely to see migrants passing through after the
first week of June. You will probably see at least 40 species , possibly 50 along
the walk. Tim is recognized as one of the most proficient birders in our community
and has sighted a huge number of species which are listed on the kiosk board at
the Rockfish River Trail head. See you there. there is no charge.
Sorry many of you missed this bird walk. Tim Hodge is fantastic. I totally enjoyed it and learned much more about birding. Hope you can make it on Thurs.
