Beech Grove / Wintergreen, Virginia
Folks above pick up a to go order at the newly opened Sparrow’s Cafe in Beech Grove. The restaurant and coffee shop opened last week. It’s located behind Devil’s Backbone Brewery that’s under construction near the intersection of Route 151 and 664 in the vicinity of The Ski Barn on the way to Wintergreen Resort.
One of the yummy breakfast plates at Sparrow’s Cafe. This was one Yvette tried out.
The restaurant and coffee house, complete with Wi-Fi wireless for internet, is in the recently reconstructed Old Arrington Train Depot. You can click here for more history on the old depot.
The Suazo Family, owners of the cafe, hustle to prepare food for the crowd showing up this past weekend.

Sparrow’s Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch daily (closed Sunday) from 6:30 AM until 2:30 PM EDT. You can reach them by calling: 434.361.0054
I am so proud of my family for having made such a wonderful contribution to Nelson County. The pictures are great. Everything looks fantastic. I hope everyone who enjoys a meal at Sparrow’s Cafe will return for more of their delicious food and coffee.
My family stopped for brunch at Sparrow’s over the Memorial Day Weekend. What a treat! The cafe is wonderfully restored with comfortable dining space, and the food was terrific. Even my son, one of the world’s most picky eaters, cleaned his plate.
Really enjoy stopping by for a warm breakfast, on the way to work, and there are really cool folks
that work there.
