    NCL received a call this morning that the event has been postponed until most likely April. Seems lots of folks are succumbing to the flu bug going around!

    WINTERGREEN, VAWintergreen Winery will conduct a Wine and Cheese Pairing on Saturday, March 1st at 6pm. Guests will be presented with a guided informative tasting of each of the winery’s selected wines paired with domestic and imported cheeses. The evening will be hosted and presented by owners/vintners Jeff and Tamara Stone. Limited space is available for this popular after hours event and reservations are necessary. $15 per person includes a souvenir wine glass and generous wine and cheese sampling of eight hand crafted wines paired with over a dozen different cheeses.     Wintergreen Winery is surrounded by beautiful mountain views and is located approximately 35 minutes from Charlottesville in the Rockfish Valley of Nelson County near Wintergreen Ski Resort and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The tasting room and gift shop are open daily from 10am until 5pm year round.

    From Charlottesville and Richmond, Virginia:
    Interstate 64 West to Exit 107 (Crozet); left on US 250 West six miles to left on Route 151 South; fourteen miles to right on Route 664; winery entrance 1/2 mile on right.

    From Shenandoah Valley, Virginia:
    Interstate 64 East to Exit 99 (Afton); right on US 250 East three miles to right on Route 151 South; fourteen miles to right on Route 664; winery entrance 1/2 mile on right.

    From the Blue Ridge Parkway:
    Exit at Reed’s Gap (MP 13.5) on Route 664 East past Wintergreen Resort; winery entrance five miles on left.

    From Lynchburg:
    Route 29 North to left on Route 151 North; Follow Route 151 for twenty one miles to left on Route 664; winery entrance 1/2 mile on right.
