Morning Light in Greenfield
Greenfield / Afton, Virginia
Before we get into the thick of it, want to point out this weekend’s featured weather photo shot by Hayley Osborne. Lots of you know Hayley, she’s a local gal born and raised here in Nelson. Her photography is excellent. You’ll begin seeing lots of her work appear in the pages of NCL starting in November and beyond.
The dam has broken on the long stretch of dry weather. Showers began Friday morning, giving us as much as an inch of rain or a tad more in some locations. This certainly won’t be enough to take us out of a drought. But it will certainly help some temporarily.
Skies will remain clear for the rest of the weekend.
