Preparations continue in Afton at Blue Mountain Brewery as they work to get open in the next few weeks. Above, Mandi Smack, co-owner, places some bricks near the walkway to the entrance at the brewery. Check out the beautiful sky above the mountains in the background! Wednesday was a very nice day across Nelson. Once you get to this time in September it’s really hard to know what to wear for the day. The mornings start out chilly only to end up hot by afternoon. I started out today wearing jeans and a long sleeve shirt, only to sweat later in the day! Essentially the next several days look much the same with slightly warmer temps. Chances for rain reenter the forecast by next Wednesday.
