Wednesday was a hot and humid afternoon. There were some very isolated thunderstorms across the area but most of them were very far south. Dewpoints were running near 70 degrees at times during the day. Pretty much anytime they get above 60 it feels sticky. High pressure will help lower the dewpoints a tiny but, but after an air temperature of 90 degrees it doesn’t really matter much. Hot is hot!

The current surface map continues to show a high pressure ridge nearby. This will keep chances for thunderstorms at or below 10% and very hot conditions.
