AT 449 PM EDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PENNY
SIZE HAIL…AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS
WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM ROCKBRIDGE BATHS TO
CORNWALL…MOVING SOUTH AT 5 MPH.
OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS INCLUDE THE CITY OF
LEXINGTON AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
