Friday, May 25: Rapunzel’s is pleased to welcome Jason Ring for his first
performance on our stage. Jason hails from southwestern Virginia, and his style
ranges from blues, bluegrass, and jazz to ragtime. With the ability to play
almost any stringed instrument, this multifaceted artist and his “flaming
fingers” are guaranteed to captivate and astound. The show starts at 8pm/no cover.

Saturday, May 26: The Naked Creek Oldtime Band joins us for an evening of
Americana, bluegrass and–you guessed it–oldtime music. Featuring
Marc Perdue on clawhammer banjo and vocals, Aaron Olwell on fiddle and
vocals, and Lorie Lichtenwalner on guitar, this band is suddenly turning out some of
the area’s best oldtime music. The show starts at 8pm/$5.
