What a great afternoon to be out and about. Saturday proved to be a really nice one in Nelson County.

Tuckahoe Antique Mall in Nellysford held a big yard sale on the lawn of their place.

Above Ken Harris of AM Fog carries some clay pots to the car for the customers behind who are picking out just the right rake!

It just doesn’t get much better than Saturday afternoon. It was sunny and perfect…other than a little northerly breeze from time to time, but we know how to take care of that..keep scrolling down!

    Basic Coffee
If there was just a little chill in your bones from that northerly wind, don’t worry we found Kelsey Vergin and Haley Osborne (above) serving up coffee on a very busy afternoon at Basic Necessities in Nellysford. Be looking for more about Basic in our June issue of NCL, they have something cooking that’s taken a decade to finally come out of the oven!

Sunday has lots going on as well, be looking for several updates on those events. One you don’t want to miss is an opening reception from 3-5 PM at Spruce Creek Gallery just south of Nellysford on 151. Stan Driver of Riverside Nursery is holding a plant sale and Susan Viemeister of Garden Trade will be talking about The Art of Color in your Garden. Also look for Patricia Whitlocks 2007 Spring Paintings in the gallery while you are there. It’s all part of their Garden & Art Weekend at Spruce Creek. See you there!
