Talk about one tough ride! Saturday morning, every 30 seconds a bike rider took to the 7+ mile course at elevations of more than 2500 feet to compete in this year’s Wintergreen Ascent sponsored by Wintergreen Resort and The Charlottesville Raciing Club. You can get the results at the CRC link shown above as well.
Our very excellent photographer Paul Purpura was out bright and early to catch some of the shots as the riders made their way through the course. Paul you are da’ man!
This is an awesome shot and one heck of a climb up!
We know this guy! It’s our own Martin Versluys of the Acorn Inn B & B. If you know Martin, then you know if there’s anything to do with biking he’s there!
